Myocardial noncompaction of the left ventricle (MNCLV) is a rare myocardial disease similar to dilated cardiomyopathy.
“Minami” is an 8-month baby who is diagnosed MNCTV
Because this diagnosis has a poor prognosis and there is a risk of sudden death and heart failure,
one of the treatments is heart transplantation. Now she is wait ing for a heart transplantation
using a ventricular assist device (VAD*).
*A ventricular assist device (VAD) is a mechanical pump that's used to support heart function and
blood flow in people who have weakened hearts.
Heart transplantation is the most effective therapy for the patients. However, we currently choose
to perform a heart transplantation only rarely in Japan. Thus, supporting the cost of traveling and
heart transplantation abroad (US) is the earliest and only way we can help save her life.
We support her heart transplantation with donating.
Your gift allows her to recover and time with family.
Our financial goal is 280,000,000 yen.
